I thought it was time to share our wedding photos with the world. We were married about 6 months ago on New Year's Eve in Cali. It was a very intimate ceremony at the chapel at Rancho Guajome Adobe in Vista and our reception was held at our dear friends home in Oceanside. We did just about EVERYTHING ourselves and with the help from our friends and family. The day turned out so perfect. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The day was about 70 and sunny and right before our reception began the fog rolled in from the ocean creating a beautiful dreamlike effect!
Best of all we spent less than $5,000 for our big day (including travel costs)!

We bought our flowers at the Oceanside Farmer's Market and assembled them the day before with some dried red cattails that I bought at the craft store. I loved how they turned out! They were so cheap and easy to assemble. I also made the guy's boutonnieres from dried flowers. I'll have a tutorial up soon!
Before the reception our wedding party went to the beach to take more photos, it was so much fun!
Donuts, carrot cake balls, and red velvet cake for dessert! My cousin made our adorable cake topper.
Our first dance was so embarrassing. Our best man chose to play a random 80's love song and we had no idea how to dance to it! Our guests kept warm with ikea fleece blankets that we gave out as favors.
